WHAT WE DO

Spanning a total of 23 years, we’ve had over 1500 youth participants, 675 youth produced videos,  800 videos exhibition, 50 sports media short videos, and over 175 hours of top-quality youth media broadcast on public access television. 


Our Mission

To educate, organize, and influence young people, 13-24, to master the digital arts through tools and trainings to forge media literacy, self-expression and civic engagement to build a 21st century world class workforce for career, economic and community transformation.

Industry-wide pre-professional career guild

For youth and young adults ages 14-24 who are seeking access to the best knowledge and experience in the field as they journey through school, developing jobs and projects on to become a full fledge professional.

Professional Mentor Workshops in digital media

Student to professional career success series for YBAMA youth. Our Industry standard training sessions build self-awareness, self-realization and empowerment to find their personal career pathway.

YBAMA Sports Media Industry Project

Provides high school students with project-based learning experiences in the Arts, Media & Entertainment sector focusing on careers in the Sports indutry.


What We've Achieved

  • 20+ years coordinating career exploration workshops & trainings in the Arts, Media & Entertainment industries led by industry professionals to develop workforce skills.

  • 9+ years coordinating the River Cats Youth Sports Media Day competition.

  • 50 sports media short videos entered into the the River Cats Sports Youth Media Day Competition.

  • 20+ year youth-led Film Festivals.

  • 675 youth produced videos entered in to the The Teen Digital Reel Showcase & Awards showcased.

  • 800 video exhibition at the North American All Youth Film & Education Day.

  • 175 hours of top-quality youth media broadcast on public access television.
