We are at the beginning of a digital technological and communication revolution that is unprecedented in scope and impact. Youth access and mastery of digital arts resources varies widely through diverse social and economic communities across the state, and youth still feel unneeded, without influence or a sense of meaningful belonging in this 21st Century. Through the use of media arts and technology, youth and their communities gain a platform to advocate for social justice and improve economic, educational, and health outcomes.
